Where have I been?

Where have I been? and what have I been doing? I've been to the edge of the universe, was reading The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. I can't really explain it but was an interesting, funny book. Aliens blow up the Earth and a man finds himself in the company of an alien that's been trapped on Earth for a long time. Lucky for him this alien saves him from the destruction of our planet, so he's the only earthman left, stuck on this crazy adventure and no place call home anymore. With a fish in his ear that helps him understand all the strange alien languages. Going along in a stolen golden space ship, piloted by a perky, overly happy computer. Whats in store for him next? I'll just have to read the next book to find out.

In the meantime I'm now reading The Neverending Story. I saw the movie but never read the book. Its about a little boy who finds a book. (or did the book find him?) Once he starts reading it he realizes this no ordinary fantasy adventure, hes about to get swept up in the story like no other hes ever read. This book has everything from dragons to fairies to racing snails, yes, I said racing snails.

I dabbed the end of a pencil in some paint then stamped it onto the page to make the flowers border.

Its a pocket that holds the vows my husband wrote just before our wedding. 

And this little snowflake was just one of many that I made for the wedding reception.
